This job can be employed in Canada or the UK and can be a hydrid role working sometimes at home, sometimes with our customers globally and sometimes at our facilities at Medicine Hat or Ashford. Check out the job description below:

Role Purpose

•    To manage and grow the line of business delivering training to customers, partners and others.
•    To ensure a high level of training is provided in relation with given QTS products so they are used correctly minimising technical enquiries and warranty claims.
•    To manage the training and competency standards for all Field Services team members globally to maintain standards.

 

Key Accountabilities

•    Develop, manage, control and certificate all training material such that training delivered is consistent, to the same standard and is repeatable. Training material includes all presentation and training aids along with delivery mechanisms used. 
•    As far as is possible, develop cost efficient, online & other delivery methodologies that work for customers and internal training candidates.
•    Oversee and certify technical training specialists in the delivery of training.
•    Develop testing strategies to validate student level of knowledge. Develop testing materials and administer an effective testing/certification program. 
•    Plan, schedule and execute training to support internal and external customer needs. Drive revenue from initial and repeat training opportunities with customers.
•    Establish QTS as subject matter experts with the ability to expand into independent UAV & similar training.
•    Manage internal training and currency standards across the global team for all training matters.

Key Capabilities/Knowledge

•    Excellent communicator, both written and oral.
•    Computer literate 
•    Positive, confident and can-do attitude  
•    Strong attention to detail 
•    Able to develop good working relationships with colleagues and customers 
•    Experience with documentation such as SOPs, Policies, Technical manuals or similar
•    Project Management trained
•    Experience of establishing and managing online training systems.
•    Basic graphic design & photo editing skills and experience would be an advantage

 

Experience & Qualifications

•    Previous experience and qualifications [CIPD or similar] in product/service training delivery
•    Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a L&D environment
•    Educated to degree standard or equivalent
•    Strong computer literacy skills particularly with Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word
•    A good understand of Photoshop or similar would be an advantage
