The Long Term Partnering Agreement (LTPA) exists to provide MOD with Test & Evaluation and Training capabilities in the UK. QinetiQ maintains the capabilities and initiates new projects, as required, to address obsolescence and development of new or enhanced capabilities. The organisation undertakes specification, design, procurement, development, integration and acceptance of the Test & Evaluation and Training Systems across the Maritime, Land, and Air domains.

 

An opportunity exists to join the Land and Weapons Investments Delivery Team, supporting a number of programs . You will be responsible for a number of Projects and tasked with ensuring our commitments to our internal and external stakeholders are met. Our projects have a diverse and complex stakeholder community, both internal and external to the company.

 

Key Accountabilities: Delivery of assigned projects to time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction; Engender a vibrant and inclusive project team dynamic, fostering a can do approach; Pro-active Stakeholder management and relationship building:

 

When requested, develop clear and compelling customer proposals; Support the IDT with Follow-On Sales to support QinetiQ growth ambitions; Open, accurate and timely project reporting, both to internal management and external customers; Management and control of project financial expenditure within authorised budget and in line with the QinetiQ delegations matrix.

 

Behavioral Requirements:Can do attitude, goal focused and a propensity to find solutions rather than issues; Drive and determination to achieve successful project delivery; Present a proactive and dynamic professional attitude to internal and external customers; Open, honest, enthusiastic team member with good written, presentational and verbal communication skills. Essential Qualifications: Degree (or equivalent experience) in appropriate discipline.Desirable Qualifications; Hold a recognised PM qualification (APMP or Prince2)
