We work with all of the businesses within QinetiQ to enable them to achieve profitable growth.  Within CTO we have the Advanced Services & Products (AS&P) delivery team where we are standing up a Project Controls function to support the Project Managers across our lines of Business which includes Stealth & Smart Materials, Power Sources, Land Autonomy, Hybrid Electric Drive technologies and Q-Works (Agile).

This role is responsible for support to the delivery of project controls within AS&P, across all lines of business under the leadership of the Project Control Team Lead.  Now is a great time to get involved with this growing diverse, innovative and exciting delivery team.


Key Accountabilities

Supporting the PCO Team Leader to provide data and analysis to the lines of business within AS&P.

Delivering project support tasks; Using MS Project, lifecycle briefcase, project reporting, invoicing, C4C and other project document creation and management.

Supporting project controls improvement activities, and sharing knowledge skills and best practice.


Key Capabilities/Knowledge

Awareness of project management; the project lifecycle, project demand signal and project finances.

Demonstrable competence in MS Project, Excel (including add-ins), Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Good organisational and record keeping skills with ability to prioritise workload and multi-task.

Awareness of the QinetiQ sales processes (C4C).

Experience of working to corporate procedures and the use of corporate tools.

Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at varying levels.

Ability to work as part of a team and well as unsupervised.

Willingness to learn and develop as part of the AS&P PCO Team.
