We are keen to hear from Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS) Inventory consultants  interested in future opportunities with our (Major Service Provider) MSP division in Melbourne.

 

Our MSP Division support Defence’s commitment to growing and improving Australia’s military capability.  We do this by delivering large, long term, integrated work packages across the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).  Working closely with both uniformed and public service staff we help plan the acquisition and support of advanced military systems and equipment through the provision of rigorous analysis, advice and assurance.

 

About the Role

The Inventory/MILIS consultant will work within a multidisciplinary team out of Victoria Barracks (Melbourne) and will be focused on the delivery of exceptional customer outcomes and support across a diverse range of capabilities. These activities may include logistics planning, governance and assurance and commercial activities, leading to the delivery of state-of-the-art capability that supports our personnel in the field.

 

Position Key attributes/responsibilities

  • Experience within the Australian Defence Organisation undertaking MILIS transactional and administrative activities
  • Must hold MILIS Proficiencies (As listed below)
  • Working understanding of Defence Supply chain
  • Demonstrated working compliance with the Electronic Supply Chain Manual (ESCM) as well as Defence Legislative, Governance, Policy and Logistics Framework

 

Essential MILIS Qualifications for the position

  • MILIS SPO Inventory Controller
  • MILIS Stocktake Recorder
  • MILIS Supply Customer Account Clerk
  • MILIS Warehouse Operator

 

Desirable MILIS Qualifications for the position

  • MILIS Maintenance Work Order Admin
  • MILIS Disposals

 

Key Responsibilities

•     MILIS transactional activities for supply of GFM and GFE;

•     MILIS transactional activities for including raising records for new vehicle deliveries;

•     Issue and receipt Inventory Stock;

•     Assist in Stocktaking. Including MILIS transactions
