QinetiQ is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support QinetiQ’s people strategy, along with the associated processes and tools. This will allow our leaders to an Identify, Manage and Develop their people. The HR Manager is responsible for supporting the configuration, maintenance, operation, and ongoing administration of the SuccessFactors system across the QinetiQ US. 

 

Your Contribution to the Mission

  • Ensure a fair and consistent interpretation and application of Company policies, practices and procedures that create and maintain a people first culture.
  • Provide support across the global SAP SuccessFactors system, incorporating Employee Central, Recruitment Management, Recruitment Marketing, Onboarding, Learning Management, Performance & Goal Management, Compensation Management, Succession and Development.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders and Centre of Excellence SAP system administrators to configure, maintain, and operate the SuccessFactors environment to support business processes, in line with QinetiQ change control processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues/incidents related to data issues, upgrades, releases, fixes and enhancements, working closely with internal Centre of Excellence teams and 3rd party support partners to ensure successful resolution to agreed SLA’s.
  • Monitor SAP SuccessFactors integration(s) and any integrations to 3rd party vendor solutions working closely with internal Centre of Excellence teams and global 3rd party support partners to resolve any issues to successful resolution.
  • Gather business change requirements, raise configuration change requests and support the management of changes through the change control processes maintaining change management tools and documentation.
  • Perform configuration changes across the SuccessFactors module suite based on the QinetiQ SuccessFactors support model, (e.g., Foundation Objects, notifications, workflows, alerts, picklists, business rules, Home Page Themes/Tiles etc.) coordinating all testing activities (Unit and UAT) and managing through the change control process.
  • Assign and maintain role-based permissions along with supporting audit compliance activities.
  • Perform regular system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability the system, including workflow management.
  • Perform data imports as and when required in support of incident resolution and change management activities.
  • Provide end user support and coaching to ensure adoption and ease of use along with training and support to key stakeholders to ensure alignment and knowledge transfer.
  • Participate in half-yearly SuccessFactors release activities working along-side the 3rd party support partner to review and assess impact on existing functionality and identify potential enhancements.
  • Develop, maintain, and support a variety of reports utilizing appropriate reporting tools including Advanced Reporting. Provide analysis where appropriate.
  • Foster change leadership, act as an HR brand ambassador, and drive culture by caring for our team members, our vendors and our customers.
  • Help manage company organizational structure, roles, responsibilities, and staffing levels.

 

To Land This Job, You Need

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years HR Generalist experience with a government contractor
  • Experience of SAP SuccessFactors is essential with a minimum of 2 years support experience within a global corporate environment.
  • Deep and broad understanding of end-to-end HR processes and the corporate systems used to support them. (i.e., Benefits, Payroll, recruitment)
  • Advanced administrator skills in Employee Central with experience in making configuration changes and handling data imports.
  • Strong background in supporting HRIS solutions and resolving integration issues (i.e., Payroll and Benefits)
  • Strong knowledge of SuccessFactors and the wider SAP product and systems landscape
  • Knowledge and experience with all federal and state regulations, filing, and compliance requirements, including COBRA, FMLA, DOL/FLSA, FMLA, and state leave laws.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to see the wider picture to identify the root causes and recommend corrective and preventative actions.
  • Quality-oriented with a keen eye towards attention to detail.
  • Highly organized, able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.  Ability to communicate and work effectively with all internal and external customers at a global level.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of development and change management lifecycles.
  • Ability to utilize functionality of MS Office applications and other various technology applications.
  • Professional certification (i.e., PHR, SHRM-CP, CPP, CPM, CBP) is a plus
