QinetiQ is seeking an experience Quality Inspector at our Lorton, VA Headquarters. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:


Your Contribution to our Mission:

  • Responsible for supporting incoming, in-process, and final inspections
  • Verifying product conformance to program specifications, drawings and acceptance tests
  • Capturing all inspection data and supplier data packages in VISUAL Quality Module
  • Properly utilizing standard inspection tools; calipers, micrometers, height stands, etc
  • Supporting QMS, AS9100D and CMMI processes
  • Supporting assigned programs in accordance with detailed Quality Plans
  • Assuring inspection equipment used is calibrated
  • Performing cable & circuit board inspection as needed


To Land this Job, You'll Need :


  • Experience working on DOD electromechanical products
  • Knowledge of test and inspection methodology
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Possess  good technical communications and team building skills
  • Must be able to interface with engineering, manufacturing, program office and configuration management
  • Ability to problem solve and critically think
  • Good trigonometry/geometry math skills
  • Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) IAW ANSI/ASME Y14.5
  • Self-starter able to work independently
