QinetiQ is looking to hire an experienced Proposal Development Designer to support the Proposal Team at our Lorton, VA C5ISR Headquarters. The Proposal Development Designer is expected to possess a general understanding of the request for proposal process and break out the deliverables involved in the response into graphical elements, working with the Proposal Development Team to deliver covers, pages, graphics (maps, infographics, icons, charts, etc.) and slides that represent the company's response. 

Your Contribution to the MIssion:

  • Develop innovative graphic concepts for proposals and presentations, including covers, headers, footers, and other supporting graphics.
  • Conceptualize, create, and edit high-end graphics to make sure they are consistent with the proposal material.
  • A general understanding of business concepts, marketing operations, creative process, and print practices.
  • Development of graphic templates and frameworks.
  • Ability to carefully handle confidential information.
  • Attend and participate in kickoff, status, and review meetings.
  • Periodic creative support for additional internal projects including:
    • Strategic presentations for clients.
    • Concepts and formats in support of senior leadership.


To Land This Job, You Need:


  • 5 years of experience as a graphic designer
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
  • Software expertise in Adobe Creative suite and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to participate in constructive quality reviews
  • Strong communications skills
  • Ability to work quickly and carefully to complete both small and large projects in a timely manner while collaborating with colleagues and suggesting solutions to improve existing content
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to ensure deadlines are met
