QinetiQ is seeking a highly motivated Service Desk Analyst with strong system administration, PC technician and problem solving skills to serve as a key member of our IT team.

 

Your Contribution to the Mission:

  • Administering to Linux and Windows based servers/domains, LAN/WAN IP networks, digital & VoIP telephony systems, data backups, and Windows clients. 
  • Maintain/enforce computer/network usage policies.
  • Administer to users/devices/systems/networks at QinetiQ's US locations.
  • Support the smooth running, maintenance, and upgrade of QinetiQ's servers. 

 

To Land This Job, You Need:

 

  • 1-3 years' experience as a Service Desk Analyst and/or PC Technician.
  • Proficiency administering Windows Clients.
  • Proficiency with a variety of PC Technician tasks.
  • Proficiency administering LAN/WAN IP networks.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Proficiency administering Windows or Linux servers.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby, PowerShell, batch.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • At least 1 CompTIA  certification.
  • Experience supporting digital and VoIP telephony systems.
