Senior Project Manager

Cyber Intelligence Solutions are looking for a client facing Project Manager who will help deliver work into, and on behalf of, our government customers. They will need to excel at stakeholder engagement and relationship management in order to understand our client’s needs and constraints, and subsequently deliver within their organisational structures. They will spend a large proportion of their time with the client, demonstrating strong consultancy skills. A business development mind-set is also crucial; demonstrating an aptitude for identifying opportunities to grow our business with those clients.


Role Purpose:

To lead the delivery of one or more COMPLEX project(s). 


Key Accountabilities:    

•    Development and maintenance of positive engagement with project customers, partners and suppliers. 
•    Managing the delivery of outputs within different client’s project management frameworks and governance structures. 
•    Operating in a Safe & Secure manner.  
•    Delivery of the project outputs, to agreed baseline (customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash and sales). 
•    Resolving conflicts (including prioritisation calls) within the project, collaborating across client teams and QinetiQ. 
•    Maintenance of forecasts (both financial and resource demand signal) for sales and delivery which reflects the up-to-date expectations for the work. 
•    Application of both QinetiQ and client governance requirements (including lifecycle, project & independent reviews as appropriate) for foundation sales and delivery work.  
•    Reporting progress on all accountabilities to QinetiQ programme / portfolio manager (or their delegate) and client sponsors.

 • Business Development; being able to identify, develop and deliver solutions to our customers’ problems within an appropriate commercial framework to maximise benefit to both our customers and QinetiQ.  
 • Negotiation & Conflict Management; being able to identify and address differences of objective, attitude or perception in order to produce an agreed outcome for all parties.


 Essential Experience & Qualifications:   

 • Demonstrable capability to International Project Management Association Level B.

 • Experience gained, typically rather than necessarily, between 3-5 years of leading a business, projects, programmes, portfolios or P3 function and successfully delivering complex projects.
 • Experience delivering projects to multiple different customers, and from both a client and supplier perspective. 


Desirable Experience & Qualifications:   

• UK National
• DV preferable [or at least willing to work towards it]
• Understanding of MoD and Intelligence Community organisations.
