Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


The Operations Supply Specialist is the primary interface between all nonstandard material deliverables and the logistics department. The Operations Supply Specialist will provide support to the ADP team, the engineering team and the CAF UAS team and any other nonstandard production project.   All logistics functions for these departments will flow through the Operations Supply Specialist.


  • New Part Entry into ERP System.
  • New Vendor Entry in ERP System.
  • Entry and maintenance of BOMs related to the project.
  • Create and monitor Sales Orders and material reservations that are required to drive acquisitions.
  • Work with Project Managers and Finance to ensure project costs are hitting the correct accounts.
  • Create POs and maintain/follow up with Project specific vendors.
  • Arranges incoming and outgoing shipments to support the projects.
  • Manages issues with ERP to ensure production needs are met.
  • Attend project meetings as required.

  • Other duties as required. To meet changing business needs, it may be necessary to make some amendments to the role purpose and accountabilities, and to take on additional responsibilities.


Education / Work Experience Required:


  • Experience with an ERP system in a manufacturing and repair & overhaul environment.
  • Familiar with Project Management.
  • Computer proficiency (Document Management Software, MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Familiar with export controls.
  • Familiar with domestic and international shipping.


Security Requirements:


  • Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.
  • Must be able to obtain a Canadian Level 2 Security clearance.
  • Must have a clean background history and obtain criminal record check.
