THE ROLE

 

The Junior Communications Engineer will be supporting the technical delivery of secure end-to-end radio solutions in a multi-bearer, mobile environment from high-level design to delivery and transition to service.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • The Junior Communications Engineer will design reviews, by taking existing design documents and reading across to system requirements in order to validate the design and produce appropriate test documentation.
  • You will independently create and run test plans and schedules.
  • The Junior Communications Engineer will be working with other parts of QinetiQ and customer or subcontractors to integrate technology into wider systems.
  • You should be able to ensure documentation produced is clear and concise and appropriate to the project and/or the recipient.

 

THE FIT

 

The Junior Communications Engineer must have an Electrical/Electronics or Communications based degree.

 

We ideally are looking for a graduate looking to progress into their next post with relevant communications based experience.

 

The Junior Communications Engineer could also be a forces leaver with electrical/comms experience looking for your first commercial role.
