The Role
Day-to-day, you’ll will take on the essential Line Management role for an established team of Explosives Engineers based across two sites - Shoeburyness and Fort Halstead. 


You will be responsible for managing and developing the team, primarily providing Ordnance, Munitions, and Explosives (OME)  management services to the Shoeburyness and Fort Halstead sites. It is likely you will spend around 30% of your time in Fort Halstead and the remainder in Shoeburyness. 


Essential experience of the Ordnance Munitions and Explosives Team Lead

  • A deep understanding of OME regulatory requirements.
  • Profound knowledge of OME Storage, Processing, Handling, and Transportation requirements.
  • Expertise in providing OME advice, assurance, and best practices.


Qualifactions of Ordnance Munitions and Explosives Team Lead

  • A good standard of general education, especially in numeracy and literacy.
  • A strong OME Technical Background
