QinetiQ Inc. is seeking an experienced Program Quality Control Manager to oversee quality on multiple DoD, R&D projects under an IDIQ program focused on advanced geospatial technology development. The selected candidate must have a strong technical background and understanding of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) systems, and be very experienced in managing quality control processes and documentation for DOD technology system development programs.
Your Contribution to Our Mission:
- The Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager position is responsible for documenting, managing, implementing, and institutionalizing the various Quality Control activities throughout the system development program.
- Participate in the review of Engineering deliverables including Drawings, Design/Details, Specifications, and Submittals; and ensure all comments generated during these reviews are addressed.
- Manage QC documentation and participate in reviews and audits to ensure compliance with DOD and contract requirements.
- Estimate requirements, conduct hazard analyses, identify critical control points; establish critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions and verification procedures for new system builds and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with all associated ISO and AS standards.
- Assure consistent quality of production by validating processes, managing documentation and overseeing production staff.
To Land This Job, You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree +10 years professional quality assurance experience within an engineering, software, scientific, or technology development environment.
- Experience overseeing all aspects of Quality Assurance/Quality Control of a technology system design and build, including system and facility safety and quality control.
- Experience working within the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) at the Army Geospatial Center (AGC) is heavily preferred.
- Experience overseeing production consistency and quality in an ISO and AS controlled environment.
- Experience managing QA/QC processes in military-grade technology production facilities.
- Strong experience managing ISO and AS audits, including managing associated paperwork and corrective procedures.
- Experience working supporting the production of ISR and GEOINT technology systems from a QA/QC standpoint.
