We have an exciting opportunity for a senior level Contract/Subcontract Administrator in our Contracts group. Under general direction, this position is responsible for supporting one or more business units in the management of contracts and subcontracts for both Federal and non-Federal programs. Areas of responsibility include proposal preparation/review, contract/subcontract preparation, negotiation and administration, verifying export classification and foreign restrictions with internal experts, and customer interface to facilitate contracts/subcontract award and completion in accordance with company policies. Reviews, interprets, recommends, and negotiates contractual terms and conditions and interprets established policies, procedures, and standard practices.  Represents the organization as the primary administrative contact on assigned contracts and subcontracts both internally and with customers.

 

Your Contribution To The Mission: 

 

  • Reviews RFPs and proposals to ensure they meet company policy and customer solicitation requirements.
  • Drafts, negotiates, administers subcontract RFPs for major subcontractors.
  • Identifies contractual issues and provides leadership in developing solutions.
  • Leads negotiations for new prime contracts/subcontracts and modifications.
  • Maintains contract/subcontract files
  • Reviews, drafts, and negotiates terms and conditions of contracts, subcontracts, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements and license agreements.
  • Manages various contract types – cost reimbursement, fixed price, time and material, etc.
  • Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.
  • Maintains an awareness of regulatory changes and their impact on contracts/subcontracts, including export considerations.
  • Maintains, analyzes, updates, and develops various electronic and hard copy records.
  • Ability to research compliance issues, applicable regulations and laws, and formulate recommendations to management.

 

To Land This Job, You Need:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in general contracts/subcontracts administration
  • Knowledge of the practices, procedures, and processes of contracts/subcontracts administration
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts, including federal acquisition regulations
  • Strong customer relations and communication skills
  • Understanding of finance and accounting principles
  • Deltek Costpoint experience a plus
  • Knowledge of export regulations a plus
