THE ROLE 

 

Inzpire provide White Force (WF) and Exercise Control services to OC Qualified Weapons Instructor Course (QWIC) at 29 Squadron RAF Coningsby.

 

The Inzpire WF team assist in the delivery of specific phases of the UK Typhoon QWIC including the Plan, Brief, Execution and Debrief (PBED) of the Air CT exercise, Ex STORM WARRIOR.

 

Operating within a small team of Combat Air (CA) and Air C2 SMEs, the key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

 

  • During the exercise planning phase on 29 Sqn, ensuring the delivery of the exercise scenario design, production of appropriate supporting Operational Staff Work, delivery of any required pre-exercise briefs to key stakeholders and other tasks as agreed with OC QWIC
  • Consulting with OC QWIC to develop, refine and improve 29 Sqn exercise processes and policies
  • During the exercise execution phase, carry out Exercise Control duties (Exercise Coordination Officer, Red Air Coordinator etc) to ensure QWIC desired learning objectives are met.

 

 

THE PERSON

 

Inzpire are looking for Combat Air (CA) or Air C2 SMEs with the following experience / skillsets:

 

Essential

  • Experience / knowledge of the UK Air CT exercise PBED cycle;
  • Confident presenter capable of briefing complex subjects to a large audience;
  • Extensive, relevant CT experience, in the live or synthetic environment, preferably from a CA or Air C2 background;
  • Previous knowledge of UK, NATO, or US military Air integration planning methodology;
  • Be willing to embrace the Inzpire work ethic of loyalty, flexibility, and consistently delivering beyond our customer’s expectations;
  • Hold or have previously held appropriate security clearances.

 

Desirable

  • UK QWI (or equivalent), NATO / US military exchange, EWI, or other Air instructor qualifications;
  • Firsthand Air or Joint Force exercise planning and delivery.
  • Experience working with 4th and 5th Gen CA platforms;
  • Experience working with international partner nations;
  • Experience working within the MOD Whole Force construct to ensure effective project delivery.

 

 

Due to the nature of elements of the role, the successful applicant must be a UK National and may be required to successfully complete National Security Vetting which may require criminal record, security service and credit reference checks; qualification will also normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.
