THE ROLE 

 

Due to the continued expansion of the Technical Services and Air and Space Division within Inzpire, we are seeking Expressions of Interest from exceptional individuals with a Combat Air Specialism.

 

We are keen to hear from suitably qualified and experienced individuals in both the UK and overseas markets to work within our capability delivery and training teams, providing current and specialist support to MOD projects and programmes. These roles vary from providing tactical / operational advice to the customer, delivering White Force (WF) and exercise control through to operator focussed, project management roles in 4th, 5th and 6th generation programmes. This work also includes support to the Defence Industry partners delivering these programmes and projects on behalf of the MOD and other UK Government Departments.

 

Suitable applicants must be Combat Air specialists with experience in all / some of the following areas:  

 

  • 4th/5th Generation tactics and employment
  • Relevant operational experience working with 4th/5th Gen CA platforms
  • Developing and contributing to UK Combat Air Strategy
  • Collective Training experience
  • Capability delivery ranging from Requirements Management to Programme Management Office responsibilities
  • Test and Evaluation experience
  • Multi-national exercise and operational collaboration and/or working in multi-national programmes
  • NATO or US exchange experience
  • Experience working in multi-national capability programmes (e.g Typh NETMA, US F-35, GCAP)

THE PERSON 

 

We are looking for truly exceptional, professionally credible, operationally experienced Combat Air Specialists.  The successful individuals will have recent operational experience, extensive CA platform experience and / or an excellent instructional pedigree, therefore a QWI qualification, or equivalent, while not essential would be highly advantageous. The successful individual will be able to draw on extensive experience and have an in-depth knowledge of the areas that enable, deliver and support CA effectiveness.

 

You will enjoy customer-facing roles which will include consultancy, advice and mentoring to our customers and offer direct support in the delivery of specific contracted outputs and programmed exercises.  You will be capable of delivering assurance and evaluation through either exercise delivery or project delivery.

 

You must be capable of critical and analytical thinking with a proven record of briefing to senior stakeholders and a confident presenter capable of briefing complex subjects to mixed audiences.

 

You will work with other Inzpire personnel and customer staff and should have great interpersonal and communications skills, integrity and strength of character, plus the enthusiasm to deliver against the contract.

Due to the nature of elements of the role, the successful applicant must be a UK National and may be required to successfully complete National Security Vetting which may require criminal record, security service and credit reference checks; qualification will also normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.
