The Role

 

Our award-winning Mission Systems Team designs, develops and delivers some of the world’s most advanced aviation mission systems from within our office in Lincoln.  As a result of our continued success and business expansion we are delighted to offer an Office Administrator role to provide a broad range of administrative duties to keep Inzpire’s Mission Systems Division functioning whilst also supporting our customers.

 

 

Working for the BAU Programme Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day activities including; document review and approval process administration, stock management and general office administration. As part of an innovative and friendly team you will be key to the provision of an outstanding service to our customers.

 

The role will include tasks such as:

 

  • Maintaining the Mission Systems document configuration management process.
  • Stock room inventory, customer deliveries, managing and monitoring project stock.
  • General office administration.

 

The Person

 

We are looking for a confident, proactive and polite individual who possesses excellent administrative, organisational and interpersonal skills. We would prefer some relevant experience in configuration control and stock management, but attracting a person with the right mindset for the job is more important for us than experience.

 

 

You will need to exhibit a pragmatic approach in the use of Mission Systems processes as well as the ability to manage a number of concurrent tasks and deadlines. You will also be confident when liaising with both the team and external customers. This role will be diverse and will also give you a sense of responsibility.

To be successful you will need to:

 

  • Be self-motivated, enthusiastic and proactive.
  • Have a high level of organisational skills and be able to prioritise a varied workload.
  • Have previous administration experience or other relevant experience.
  • Have experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Be passionate about delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Be polite and professional in manner.

 

 

Part of the job will require you to use your own vehicle to travel to local suppliers and a selection of retailers, therefore a full UK driver’s license is essential.  Reimbursement will be provided for any travel costs.

 

Due to the nature of elements of the role, the successful applicant must be a UK National and may be required to successfully complete National Security Vetting which may require criminal record, security service and credit reference checks; qualification will also normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.
