This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Applied Imagery Specialist to join our Engineering team in Adelaide, and utilise their previous experience, to support our Trials Team with a significant future trials schedule.
Your responsibilities will include;
- Setup, utilise and maintain photo-instrumentation to support a range of Explosive Ordnance experimentation and trials
- Setup, utilise and maintain high speed photo/video instrumentation equipment in various trial locations
- Capture and process a range of imagery to support EO experiments and field trials
- Assist in imagery analysis and interpretation
- Liaise with Trial planners on optimal ways of capturing data with the equipment available
- Support the trial plan development where required
To be successful in this role, our preferred candidate with have experience in the following;
- Previous Specialist Imaging experience is preferred
- Defence Science and Technology or Defence experience would be desirable
- Additional work licences and qualifications would be looked at favourably
- A good understanding of or experience within a test and evaluation environment
- Experience in the coordination of technical activities (i.e. procurement, equipment maintenance, calibration etc)
- Experience working in a technical workshop environment
- Experience liaising and building relationships with stakeholders
- A high level of motivation and innovation
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must hold or have recently held an NVI Australian Defence security clearance
