We are looking for an experienced Senior EngineerMechanical to join our Integrated Engineering Services division, based in Adelaide.

 

As a Senior Engineer - Mechanical, you will be supporting the design and manufacture of critical components, with your duties including, but not limited to;

 

  • General mechanical engineering design and drafting to support research and development activities
  • Management / coordination of component fabrication and acceptance
  • Maintenance of engineering management tools
  • Any other mechanical engineering support activities as required by the task lead


To be successful in the role of Senior Engineer - Mechanical, you will need to bring with you;

 

  • Degree qualified in a mechanical engineering (or related) field
  • Proficient in multiple CAD software packages (specifically, Solid Edge)
  • Experience in producing detailed design drawings for component manufacture 
  • Experience in the modelling of propulsion systems
  • Ability to undertake finite element analysis (FEA)
  • Competent with structural analysis tools and software packages (specifically, ANSYS)

 

 

Applicants MUST hold a Baseline Australian Government Security Clearance which will be upgraded to an NV1.
