We are now accepting applications for a Software Engineer to join our team in Adelaide. The successful candidate will join an experienced, innovative, and supportive tight-knit team. You will work across a diverse range of projects and products and will be exposed to different technologies and tools, allowing you to grow in your career and feel fulfilled in your work.

The opportunity

As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Building high-quality software that complies with coding standards and technical design
• Regular liaison with clients and external stakeholders to clarify requirements and define system functionality
• Software Development
• Designing and documenting of software solutions to defence
• Taking ownership of your work throughout the entire software development lifecycle
• Identifying and resolving of software defects and performance issues

To be successful in the position of Software Engineer, you will need to bring with you:

• A bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science or IT is preferred
• Demonstrated experience in some or all of the following languages, Java, Python, C/C++, JavaScript (including frameworks: Angular, Vue React)
• Experience throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle, from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• A background in the Defence industry will be highly regarded
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, confidence, and self-motivation
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must hold an Australian Defence security clearance, NV1 minimum or have the ability to obtain one
