The Role
As a Senior Systems Specialist, you will have a role that is out of the ordinary assisting providing direction and guidance across the QinetiQ SAP SuccessFactors landscape, shaping the roadmap and leading continuous improvement activities.
 
Day-to-day, you will:

  • Assist in the management of the change process, gathering and formalising business change requirements and supporting the management of changes.
  • Oversee and be an escalation point for issues/incidents working closely with our internal centre of excellence teams and 3rd party support partners.
  • Undertake configuration changes across the SuccessFactors module suite based on the QinetiQ SuccessFactors support model and coordinating testing activities managing them through change control process.
  • Provide end user support and coaching to ensure adoption, training and support to key stakeholders.
  • Support in the routine system activities including role based permissions, system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of the system, data imports and reporting,

 

This role is a full-time position based at either our Malvern, Farnborough, Portsmouth, Boscombe Down or Bristol site with Hybrid/Flexible working.
 
Essential experience of the Senior Systems Specialist:

  • Strong knowledge of SuccessFactors and the wider SAP product and systems landscape supporting multiple modules.
  • Extensive experience in supporting HRIS solutions and a broad understanding of end-to-end HR processes.
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of development and change management lifecycles.
  • The ability to problem solve, see the wider picture to enable the identification of root causes and to recommend corrective and preventative actions.
  • Proven experience working effectively with internal and external customers.

 

Qualifications for the Senior Systems Specialist:
Completion of SAP SuccessFactors courses/qualification or equivalent experience.
