The Role

As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will have a role that is out of the ordinary. Our team of Cyber Security Consultants provide expert risk assessment, analysis and advice to Government and commercial clients in sectors such as Defence and Critical National Infrastructure

 

Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Working with clients to identify and respond to cyber threats and security risks which might have an impact on their business,
  • Deriving, analysing & developing mitigations for information risk in a given business scenario and threat environment,
  • Conducting risk assessments, analysis and/or audits in either Cyber Security or Information Assurance,
  • Applying Information Assurance methodologies and analysis frameworks in a range of scenarios,
  • Examining emerging technologies to identify effective ways to deploy security controls.

This role is a full-time position based out of our Bristol offices with a hybrid working arrangement

 

Essential experience of the Cyber Security Consultant:

 

  • Understand cyber risk impact on business or operational outcome
  • Able to articulate regulatory requirements and devise courses of action to meet these appropriate to the business or operational context.
  • Able to devise effective and creative risk mitigation strategies that enhance business outcomes
  • Understand cyber risk and mitigations put in place and can provide evidence to help refine risk mitigation approaches
  • Able to identify, document and articulate security risk and mitigation approaches, against technology solutions and business processes

 

 

Qualifications for the Cyber Security Consultant:

 

  • STEM degree or equivalent and relevant experience in cyber security role
