The Role
As a Deputy Commercial Manager, you will provide commercial support within multi-disciplined integrated capture and delivery teams as required within the established commercial strategy.
Day-to-day, you’ll contribute to our business-winning strategy you will be responsible for all aspects of effective management of contracts within the portfolio. Including legal, pricing and intellectual property.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to commercial and contractual support, including customer bidding and contracting
- Advising on export and import control (in support of our trade solutions team), risk management, change control, contract and document drafting, and issue resolution
- Demonstrating commercial acumen on tenders and contracts of medium to high complexity
- Supporting senior commercial staff on major projects or new business campaigns
- Supporting contract management activities, including engagement throughout the contract lifecycle
- Managing post-contract processes, whilst ensuring continued customer satisfaction
Essential experience of the Deputy Commercial Manager:
- Strong proven background in commercial management
- Ability to influence pricing strategy within contracts
- Demonstratable experience with business budgets and financial objectives
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- An accountable and motivated self-starter

This role is 37 hours per week based at our Bristol site. With hybrid working patterns available.
