The Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be working directly within the dismounted close combat integrated delivery team. You will work on a number of projects which we supply directly to the Armed Forces.
Day-to-day, you’ll drive excellence in multiple projects and be responsible for the safe delivery of project outputs to the agreed baseline, whilst also supporting the delivery of the Integrated Delivery Teams business objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:

Tracking project progress in accordance with the contract

Managing change requests (Exceptional, Traded and Absorbed) in a dynamic but systematic manner

Managing multiple suppliers and subcontractors

Configuration Management of deliverables provided to the customer

Maintaining PM Logs (risk, issues, opportunities, decisions, actions, lessons)
Essential experience of the Senior Project Manager:

Demonstrable experience leading and successfully delivering complex projects

Experience delivering defence, engineering and/or IT projects
-
Strong Stakeholder Management, such as identifying, planning and implementing actions to positively engage parties

Ability to manage multipe external customers
Essential qualifications for the Senior Project Manager:

Degree (or equivalent experience) in appropriate discipline

Hold a recognised PM qualification (APM Project Professional Qualification (PPQ) or Prince2

This role is 37 hours per week based at Bristol or Farnborough. Hybrid working patterns are available.
