We are now accepting applications for a Business Change Manager to play a key role in QinetiQ’s Oracle Cloud ERP project. Ideally, this position will be based in Canberra but other capital cities will be considered for the right candidate.
Reporting to the Head of Transformation, Australia Sector, the Business Change Manager will ensure all aspects of business change are effectively managed and executed to ensure successful implementation of QinetiQ’s Oracle Cloud ERP platform.
You will be process minded, possess excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills and will have extensive experience managing change on large enterprise projects.
As the Business Change Manager you will have the following key responsibilities:
- Leading the full lifecycle of change management for a high-impact ERP system implementation, ensuring smooth adoption and integration across the organisation;
- Developing and executing change strategies, including communications plans, training and stakeholder updates and supporting materials ensuring the successful adoption of the new ERP system;
- Work closely with key stakeholder groups, project teams and business leaders to ensure smooth implementation of the project;
- Identify and address change impacts, risks, and issues;
- Applying experience and knowledge across a spectrum of business change methodologies;
- Operating effectively within QinetiQ change management function working in close and harmonious collaboration with QinetiQ UK’s Program Change Leads;
- Driving, facilitating, undertaking and delivering change activities with particular emphasis on shaping the approach to/and execution of user readiness;
- Contribute to and guide positive change implementation;
As a suitably experienced and well-rounded change management professional, the Business Change Manager will need to bring with them:
- Extensive experience in a similar senior business change role, with exposure to major business change and transformation projects, such as ERP/Finance platforms;
- A tertiary qualification in Change Management or associated discipline and/or a certification in a recognised Change Management methodology such as PROSCI, CCMP, etc.
- Proven track record in the delivery of business change initiatives, preferably within complex organisational environments distributed across multiple time zones and geographies;
- Strong communication skills for developing and executing strategic communications and training plans with abilities to engage and collaborate on all levels and across functional teams; and
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and be the Subject Matter Expert in the Change discipline and have excellence in business impact, risk and gap analysis skills.
Candidates will need to be eligible to obtain a Baseline Australian Government Security Clearance.
