We are currently looking for a Project Support Consultant (Commercial) to join our Major Service Provider (MSP) team, based in Canberra. This is a project support role with a commercial flavour to it.

In this role you will be responsible for devising and setting up systems to facilitate the transition of the Materiel Sustainment Agreement (MSA) and Product Schedule (PdS) to the System Program Office (SPO), including performance benchmarks and reporting processes.  You will also be responsible for identifying, monitoring and managing risks, issues and opportunities for SPO specific to sustainment of the platform’s capability, culminating in the delivery of a Sustainment Risk Management Plan and Integrated Risk Assessment. This is an ideal opportunity for future progression into a Project Management role.

 

To be successful in the role of Project Support Consultant (Commercial you will need to bring with you:

  • Recent commercial management experience within Defence acquisition or sustainment.
  • Experience developing and implementing effective systems
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relations
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities, multi task and work under pressure
  • Strong initiative and ability to engage with and influence stakeholders
  • You need to hold an active or activation-ready security clearance at NV1 or above
