This is a remarkable phase in our history and we are looking for talented Project /Strategy Consultants based in Canberra, to join our Advisory Division as we embark on our next phase of growth.

In our Advisory Services Division, everything starts with a problem that needs a solution. We act as an independent, technical partner for customers looking to procure defined services and develop specific capabilities. We help them diagnose, rationalise and solve intractable problems by providing analysis, advice and assurance, enabling our customers to make sound decisions about cost, time and performance.

 

As a Project/ Strategy Consultant you will be responsible for:

  • Drafting and reviewing of project management documentation, reports and briefs
  • Reporting progress against project schedules
  • Engagement with internal and external stakeholders
  • Preparing and distributing project, financial and resource reports
  • Stakeholder engagement within the Defence environment
  • Managing rapidly changing schedules and project priorities

 

To be successful for the role the ideal applicant will require:

  • Diploma or equivalent in Project Management discipline
  • Project management experience within a large complex acquisition project, or program of projects, or project of similar scale.
  • ASDEFCON or Government Contract Management experience within Australian Government Departments, of Defence industry.
  • Developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relations to influence and lead decision makers
  • Technical, commercial, industry and management experience, gained within a Defence environment or similar industry
