QinetiQ are now accepting applications for a Senior Growth Operations Analyst within our Growth team for our Australian Sector. This role will ideally be located in Brisbane but other capital cities will also be considered.  

 

Reporting to the Sector Growth Operations Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development, management and delivery of financial data analysis tools and products and supporting the development of financial planning documentation for the Growth function. 

 

As Senior Growth Operations Analyst you will be accountable to:

 

  • Lead the establishment of commensurate processes, tools and necessary documentation in accordance with QinetiQ policy and Business Management System (BMS) rules
  • Support Business Development Operations Sector wide, including ensuring that the end to end process for the development of new business is compliant to the QinetiQ governance and assurance construct
  • Work autonomously to undertake data analytics using QinetiQ provided and bespoke purpose-built tools/approaches and develop requisite artefacts to support sector requirements
  •  Support the development of functional financial planning products including but not limited to budgets, integrated strategic business plan and other financial recording and reporting artefacts
  • Lead the Sector-wide drive in the consistency of data recording including development of tools and process to assure compliance with published policies, processes and guidance documents
  • Support and/or facilitate training to ensure Sector data gathering/recording activities, management and upkeep are compliant with the data use case
  • Support other functional areas and business units as directed by the Sector Growth Operations Senior Manager

 

To be successful in the role of Senior Growth Operations Analyst you will need to bring with you:

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance with a significant depth of experience in a similar role
  • Generalist experience in Business Development with strong commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Advanced knowledge and application of data analytics principles and concepts, specifically in a business development context
  • Highly developed skills and ability to manipulate financial data using tools and techniques to prepare reports
  • Ability to support other areas of the Growth Function and liaise with other functions, entities within the broader organisation with a high level of autonomy
  • Ability to take a proactive approach to the adoption of standards, internal processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and the management of work within a team context
  • Experience in a Financial Data or Operational Analyst role will be well regarded

 

Candidates will need to hold or be elligible to apply for a Baseline Australian Government Security Clearance.
