We are now looking for a Test and Evaluation (T&E) Manager to join our Advisory business (explosive material branch) in Canberra. Boasting the largest team of highly respected and experienced Explosive Ordnance (EO) acquisition personnel, you will work in close partnership with our clients working on multi-million dollar projects that are at the cutting edge of innovation in Defence munitions and the creation of sovereign capability
As the T&E Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and supervising T&E activities were appropriate
- Managing test activities in support to program outcomes, including TEMPS
- Developing and/or reviewing T&E procedures and publications to support continued technical integrity
- Experience in noise & blast and toxicity & loads testing
- Developing and/or reviewing technical plans for the test and evaluation of EO material
- Providing executive level briefings on matters pertaining to EO T&E capability
- Ongoing engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Project planning and management with respect to allocated tasking’s and improvement initiatives as they relate to EO and T&E
- The ability to engage with the end user and other stakeholders to develop solutions for systems used to capture data used in T&E and conduct EO test activities.
To be successful in the role you will require:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent in an appropriate discipline supported by relevant T&E experience within a complex environment such as explosive ordnance
- Cert IV in T&E will be highly regarded
- Ability to work independently from supervisors and be fully responsible for meeting allocated technical and/or project/supervisory objectives
- Strong stakeholder management experience (preferably within an explosives ordnance environment).
- Strong influencing skills over the allocation and management of resources appropriate to given assignments
- Ability to make decisions which impact the success of assigned work, i.e. results, deadlines and budget.
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must also be eligible for Australian Defence security clearance.
