About the role:

 

You will be leading the technical delivery of the Global Interoperable Infrastructure and Digital Workspace Programme (GII DW), through the effective management of task delivery across the Digital Productivity team.

 

You will take ownership of the Scrum Master role within the delivery team, ensuring the Agile delivery processes are fit for purpose; compliance standards are adhered to; and a high level of service is provided.

 

The Digital Delivery Manager is a crucial role within the Digital and Data Transformation programme due to the scale, complexity, criticality and strategic focus of modernising QinetiQ's infrastructure and digital workspace. You will be enthusiastic about introducing new features and functionality, focusing on high quality and continuous service improvement.

 

You will need to coach the delivery team to deliver excellent service across all activities undertaken within the Productivity work stream. There is also an opportunity to influence and inspire others across the wider organisation, regarding the adoption of the agile methodology through engagement with Communities of Practice.

 

What will I be doing?

 

  • Supporting the GII DW Technical Lead to define requirements and tasks aligned to business priorities, with responsibility for the global delivery of the Microsoft stack of products
  • Supporting the GII DW Senior Programme Manager to define the overall roadmap and manage costs, risks and quality of the programme.
  • Acting as Scrum Master on the delivery of GII DW, via a multi-disciplinary, highly skilled digital team
  • Delivering IT infrastructure and Cloud application capabilities, and accountable for planning, scheduling and co-ordinating all activities
  • Delivering products and capability enhancements using the Agile delivery management methodology
  • Working with the Product Owner to define the roadmap for any given product and translate this into user stories

 

 What do I need?

 

  • Certified Scrum Master qualification and/or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience of Agile delivery management tools
  • Extensive experience of DevOps tools
