The Role
As a Senior Systems Specialist, you will join a dynamic team that will be responsible for providing direction and guidance across the QinetiQ Sales Force landscape, shaping the roadmap and leading continuous improvement activities.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for guiding, directing and managing the configuration, maintenance, operation and ongoing administration of the Salesforce System.
 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the management of the change process, gathering and formalising business change requirements and supporting the management of changes
  • Administering and maintaining the Salesforce platform managing user access, profiles, roles and security settings
  • Customisation and configuration of Salesforce to meet any business requirements whilst staying current with the latest Salesforce releases
  • Providing end user support and coaching to ensure adoption and training to support key stakeholders
  • Planning and delivering of testing for application development and enhancements including designing, executing test scripts and ensuring results are documented correctly
  • Working with 3rd party support partners overseeing and escalating any issues whilst reviewing and assessing impact on the organisation

 

Essential experience of the Senior Systems Specialist: 

  • A strong knowledge of Salesforce, system landscapes and the wider product suites with an in depth understanding of development and change management lifecycles
  • Previous experience as a Salesforce Administrator with a strong background in automation and process improvement initiatives
  • The ability to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams with the ability to identify root causes and recommend corrective preventative actions
  • A strong knowledge of Salesforce Architecture, data models and the best practices for configuration and customisation
  • Previous experience supporting Salesforce within a corporate environment

 

Essential qualifications for the Senior Systems Specialist:

Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201 or equivalent)

This role is 37 hours per week based at any of our main UK locations. Hybrid working patterns available.
