Location: Greater Melbourne, Victoria, AU

Company: QinetiQ

QinetiQ employs more than 8000 people in 50 locations around the world, offering our customers premier expertise in advice, services and creative technology-based products.

QinetiQ Australia, part of the global QinetiQ group, provides technological and scientific expertise to help customers protect and advance their vital interests. As an innovative science and technology company, we help solve some of our customers' most challenging problems. Our determination to deliver and improve today and anticipate and shape tomorrow, makes QinetiQ a very exciting, rewarding and respected place to work and learn.

We’re particularly excited to now welcome applications from Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Consultants to work with our customer, the Land Domain of the Defence Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) on the LAND 400 program, which is delivering the next generation of Armoured Vehicles to the Australian Army. These vehicles will replace the current fleets of Australian Light Armoured Vehicles (ASLAV) and M113 Armoured Personnel Carriers that have been in service for decades.

The Land Domain of CASG is the single point of accountability for both acquisition and through-life-materiel support for designated land systems for the Australian Defence Force. Comprising Land Systems Division and Armoured Vehicle Division, the Land Domain is responsible for delivery of a diverse range of capabilities to support 'raise, train and sustain' requirements and operational deployments. The LAND 400 program represents another opportunity to work in support of this dynamic organisation.

As a result, we have a number of permanent opportunities for people to work as Integrated Logistics Support Consultants in Melbourne, supporting a variety of projects that sit across our Defence Programs.

We are particularly keen to talk to you, if you have experience in the following;

  • Procurement and contracting
  • Inventory/Asset management
  • Support System Analysis of Acquisition Projects
  • Spares analysis and management
  • Obsolescence Management
  • Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
  • Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
  • Support and Test Equipment analysis
  • Technical Advisors
  • Performance Needs Analysis and Training design

As ILS consultant you will work within a multidisciplinary team as a valued member of the QinetiQ Operations and Delivery team, focused on the delivery of exceptional customer outcomes and support across aspects of ILS to assist acquisition/integration of new capability into CASG.

To be successful for the role of ILS Consultant you will need:
