This role sits within our Vivace brand working in partnership with government bodies such as the Home Office withing the Accelerated Capability Environment (ACE). ACE solves rapidly-changing digital challenges facing law enforcement and national security agencies. Bringing together expertise from industry and academia to innovate collaboratively and create mission impact at pace – typically weeks and months, rather than the months and years typical of large delivery programmes.

 

The Role

As an Agile Project Manager, you will have a role that is out of the ordinary. You will be working in a critical, challenging and interesting role delivering high-profile, important projects to a range of customers. You will be using your expertise and knowledge to realise our strategic ambition to be a scalable and sustainable mission-oriented innovation partner.

 

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Work in collaboration with Technical Project Managers and Technical assurers being responsible for all aspects of quality in the commissioned projects.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Commission sponsors while leading multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
  • Delivery across the spectrum of multiple, concurrent, small and larger multi million pound deliveries. These can range from research, to the delivery of better versions of working systems addressing customer’s problems.
  • Have full responsibility for the delivery of the project outputs while maintaining forecasts both financial and the resource demand for sales and delivery.

 

This role is a full-time position based at our Vauxhall site with 2-3 days a week on-site.

 

Essential experience of the Agile Project Manager:

  • Extensive application of an Agile Methodology in delivery.
  • Previous experience of Stakeholder Management and directing third party vendors and contractors to support delivery.
  • Previous experience articulating complex digital, data and technology challenges to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience delivering a number of complex projects for multiple customers using Scrum and DevOps tooling to support effective delivery.

 

Qualifications for the Agile Project Manager:

  • Degree level qualifications or equivalent demonstrable experience.
