As a result of our continued successes we have an opportunity to join our award-winning team within the Vivace IDT.  Vivace is a consortium of companies set up in 2017 (led by QinetiQ group PLC) that is charged with delivering ‘ACE’ - the Accelerated Capability Environment for the Home Office. This capability was set up to bring industry and academia closer to government and law enforcement problems, and stimulate the flow of innovative, agile and flexible solutions to problems in the digital environment, delivering real impact for law enforcement agencies.  

 

Vivace works in partnership with its Home Office and law enforcement partners, helping to identify threats, risks and areas of need, then works with the best and brightest from industry to facilitate innovative thinking, fast.  

Based in our project office in London we are at the heart of delivering a new and exciting way of working for government. 

The Quality Hub is the PMO function responsible for ensuring that there is a consistent approach to delivery across ACE as well as providing support to delivery of commissioned work that ACE undertakes working collaboration with its Customers.

 

Role Purpose:

  • Lead the Quality Hub function
  • Day to day line management of quality hub members
  • Full understanding of active commissions at all stages in lifecycle
  • Prioritise and assign activities to team members across broad range of functions and customer domains
  • Lead the Quality Hub Knowledge Management function; recording, reporting and filing relevant artefacts and creating tangible audit trails of commissions
  • Recruit and train new Quality Hub members in the ACE ways of working, ensuring value for money and strong knowledge sharing across team
  • Ownership of the report production for the Quality Hub and Business Operations as directed by ACE CEO
  • Partner with ACE CTO to drive the data initiative to ensure a Data Drive future.
  • Ownership to coordinate the Continuous Improvement efforts being undertaken by ACE stakeholders
  • To connect with ACE functional leads on a regular basis, to provide support above and beyond commission delivery
  • Act as SharePoint and Teams Admin, designing and creating virtual spaces as required
  • Support SSO function within ACE, leading the process and accountability for onboarding new members, companies and government employees into the ACE environment.
  • Onboard all new ACE Core members into the ACE environment, ensuring seamless and inclusive training is provided
  • Own the production of key metrics, performance reports and ensure data quality / integrity is maintained throughout metric lifecycle
  • Support CEO with ACE quarterly milestones, tracking progress against plan and associated metrics where required
  • Run the monthly virtual Show and Tell session, adhoc ACE events and Weekly Leads
  • Act as focal point for MS Flows, PowerApps and Automate for ACE RPA efforts

Skills & Knowledge:

Essential :

  • Advanced Microsoft Office particularly Excel, Powerpoint, Word.
  • Understanding and experience of Sharepoint, Office 365, Teams and JIRA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and confident with successful track record of delivering management reports to an agreed timetable.
  • Strong stakeholder and interpersonal skills.
  • Organised and able to multi task.

 

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of planning, monitoring and controlling projects.
  • Relevant PMO or project management accreditation e.g. P30, Prince2, Agile.
  • University degree or relevant work experience
