Opportunities for Technical Security Specialists
As a Cyber Technical Security Specialist within QinetiQ, you would work alongside a diverse and experienced team responsible for conducting analysis of and delivering consultancy on the security posture of complex system architectures for our UK & international clients within Government, Defence / National Security and Financial sectors.
By collaborating with other architect disciplines and technical experts you will deliver a security viewpoint on architectures that will inform the design while ensuring security requirements are met. You will also be required to work collaboratively with other security experts, including Information Assurance consultants, accreditors, analysts and penetration testers to inform secure architectural design that meets all relevant governance requirements.
You will be able to impact local security-related project delivery elements, including detailed technical levels and higher level project views, as well as lead local security governance project elements, including detailed technical levels as well as higher level project views.
You will gain experience across a wide variety of areas within cyber, this includes but not limited to, security assurance, accreditation, Government and commercial frameworks and related technical guidance/best practice. You will also apply knowledge of the current cyber threat landscape, technical vulnerabilities and attack methodologies to the design of complex architectures.
