The Role
You will be fully responsible and accountable for project controls throughout the project lifecycle for assigned projects. Planning, monitoring and controlling project performance.

 

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be part of a wider team where you’ll capture progress updates from work package leads, adjust actual start and finish dates, review changes in sequencing or dependencies and validate remaining durations.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day scheduling on a range of projects
  • Forecasting spend and communicating on shortfalls or obstacles
  • Analysis and reporting data
  • Risk Management – Identify, assess, plan and implement risk response

 

Essential experience of the Project Controller: 

  • Clear communication skills is a must
  • Forecasting and scheduling experience is desirable
  • Analytical mind would be advantageous
  • Ability to work to tight and sometimes pressurised deadlines

 

Essential qualifications for the Project Controller:

  • Recognised project management qualification e.g. APM PMQ or equivalent
  • Degree educated

This role is 37 hours per week based at Boscombe Down with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.

 

Malvern

The Malvern facility is noted for its work in electronic warfare, surveillance and complex system integration, contributing significantly to the UK’s defence capabilities. Developing technologies for military and civilian applications, including sensors, communications and cyber security.
