We are currently looking for an Aerospace Project Manager to join our Advisory Business, based in Melbourne.

 

As part of our support to our clients, your role as Aerospace Project Manager will be to utilise your experience in the introduction and sustainment of aircraft into service within a Defence environment.

 

As an Aerospace Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with Air Force, CASG and Defence industry stakeholders
  • Leading key project activities for an Air Force Minor project
  • Supporting the team through the execution of ASDEFCON Contracts
  • Supporting the delivery of project outcomes, working closely with Engineering, ILS and Project support teams
  • Drafting and reviewing of Project management documentation, reports and briefs
  • Development and maintenance of Project schedules
  • Preparing and distributing project, financial and resource reports
    To be successful in the role of Aerospace Project Manager you will require:
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in project management of Defence, Aerospace / Air Force related projects.
  • Project Management qualification and equivalent experience.
  • Experience developing project management plans and project management artefacts.  
  • Familiar with procurement, project management and contract management activities associated with introduction of aircraft platforms into service with Air Force.
  • Strong understanding of Defence Systems Engineering and Aircraft DGTA Airworthiness.
    Applicants MUST be eligible to obtain an Australian Government security clearance.
