As part of QinetiQ Air Affairs, Aerospace Training Services, based in Nowra, NSW, provides quality aviation maintenance training and training support to the Australian Defence Force and is a recognised training organisation (RTO) and CASA Part 147 Maintenance Training Organisation (MTO).


We are currently looking for expressions of interest from experienced Aviation Trade Trainers to join our training team at our Nowra based site.


As an experienced aeroskills trainer / assessor you will be responsible for delivering aviation trade training, primarily helicopter, to both civilian and Australian defence force personnel. You will have the opportunity to enjoy our state of the art facility and grow your career with a global organisation.


Your day to day role will see you;

  • Developing training plans in accordance with regulatory and training requirements
  • Delivering high quality training to both civilian and defence training cohorts
  • Liaising with stakeholders across the business and industry
  • Supporting students on their learning journey
  • Managing documentation and training records


As our ideal candidate you will bring;

  • Experience as an AME / LAME with a focus on mechanical systems
  • A Cert IV in Aeroskills (Avionics or Mechanical)
  • Experience in a registered training organisation (RTO)
  • Knowledge of CASA training requirements
  • A Cert IV in Training & Assessment
  • Defence Experience (not essential)
