About the role:
Based in our Air Affairs operations in Nowra, this newly created role will report to a Senior People Partner and will support the operations in providing HR advice and guidance, along with assisting with the ongoing maintenance and implementation of HR policies and procedures, along supporting a variety of projects. Duties will include, but not limited to:
 

  • Providing efficient first line support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures and activities
  • Evaluating, preparing and updating position descriptions
  • Supporting the continuous development and implementation of HR processes
  • Compiling and providing data and employment information to the employee services team
  • Managing the ongoing compliance requirements, including development of plans and reports
  • Working with the broader People team to ensure seamless delivery of HR cyclical activates are rolled out, understood and embedded into functional team

 

Full-time, 12 months fixed-term opportunity.

 

 

About you:

  • Proven experience working in an agile HR team
  • Sound working knowledge of and the proven ability to interpret and advise on the Fair Work Act, NES and Modern Awards
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills, including the ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Willingness to work in operationally and on projects
  • Attention to detail with the ability to implement and manage processes
