The Role

As a member of the UK Estates Delivery team, the Property Operations Maintenance Administrator will provide support delivering planned or requested activities which will depend on the requirements of the individual task to effectively deliver high quality property operations services to our customers and colleagues alike. This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract based full time at the QinetiQ site in Pendine, Wales.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll carry out administrative responsibilities and provide support as and where needed within the back-office team.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • To provide helpdesk support, processing work requests received through the Maintenance Management System (MMS); we currently use SAP
  • Building valid work orders from MMS notifications (assigning it to an appropriate person)
  • To administer maintenance work orders and respond to customers and update MMS with progress on outstanding work orders
  • Filing and archiving of all works orders and associated paperwork / process documentation ensuring all work orders are closed correctly within company policy guidelines
  • Producing appropriate Reports as requested.
  • To generate Training requirement/overview reports and to update/upload employee training data/evidence.

 

Essential experience of the Administrator

  • To support the delivery of a high-quality business service with a moderate degree of supervision and guidance working within defined procedures.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications specifically Word and Outlook
  • Support the resolution of standard queries, escalating more complex issues to a senior member of the team.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service, communicating with tact and diplomacy at all times, taking accurate messages and passing them on to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
  • To support the continuous improvement of Business Services by identifying and communicating improvement opportunities within their own role and assisting other team members with continuous improvement projects and activities.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task

The QinetiQ Pendine facility, located on the coast of South Wales, is renowned for its extensive capabilities in testing and evaluating defence systems, particularly in the fields of weapons and vehicle performance.
