We are currently accepting applications for multiple Project Support Officers to join our Adelaide team. The successful candidates will get the opportunity to work on a range of Research and Development (R&D) programs, where they will work with a wide range of stakeholders across Defence, industry and academia.
The opportunities
As a PSO, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Producing key documents for planning and governance meetings
- Coordination and scheduling of a range of project/trial activities
- Supporting the Senior Project Managers as required
- Ensuring adequate and appropriate record management is undertaken in accordance with the relevant processes
- Develop planning and scheduling documents for upcoming trials, meetings and conferences
- Prepare post-activity assessment documents including lessons learned and summary proceedings
- Meeting administration, drafting agendas, managing calendar invites, room bookings, minutes and reporting
To be successful in the position of PSO, you will need to bring with you:
- Previous experience in Project Coordination or Project Support (ideal)
- Relevant qualifications in Project Management or related discipline
- The ability to build strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders and effective communication skills
- A passion for learning and the ability to prioritise and multi-task while working independently or in a team
- Strong attention to detail along with demonstrated planning and organisational skills
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be eligible for Australian Defence security clearance. Current security clearance is advantageous.
