Senior NDT Technician (Aerospace) - Brisbane

 

We are presently seeking a Non-Destructive Test (NDT) technician (Level 2) to become a valuable member of our team in a full-time position located in Amberley, Queensland. In this role, you will contribute to the RAAF and ADF by applying NDT methods and crafting NDT procedures specifically tailored for use on Defence aircraft, engines, and ground support equipment.

 

You will need to have current or recent experience of:

 

  • Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
  • Liquid penetrant Testing (PT)
  • Eddy Current Testing (ET)
  • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
  • Radiographic Testing , X-Ray (RT)

 

Ideally you will also have experience of:

 

  • Thermography Testing (IRT), Aerospace
  • Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)

 

As a qualified IAW EN 4179 or NAS 410 as a Level 2 NDT technician you will also have worked with:

 

  • EASA, CASA or DASA regulations
  • NDT procedure development

 

You will also bring significant experience within the aerospace industry, ideally with ADF aircraft and experience working in a defence environment.
