Boasting the largest team of highly respected and experienced Explosive Ordnance (EO) acquisition personnel, you will work in close partnership with our clients and will be embedded within a vibrant team, working on multi-million dollar projects that are at the cutting edge of innovation in Defence munitions and the creation of sovereign defence capability.

We are looking for a Senior Explosive Ordnance Engineer to join our Advisory business in Canberra
Naval Strike Missile is Post Gate 2 and has recently established a Direct Commercial Sales contract for the integration, installation, and delivery of the missiles, ship installed
equipment, facilities, training, and related support.
Over the next 12-24 months, it is expected that the team will be tasked with the following;
- Manage and address risk.
- Prepare contract changes, technical documentation, schedules and other project material.
- Support integration activities including ship installations.
- Conduct certification activities for the explosive ordnance in accordance with EMB processes,
- Support the introduction into service of the NSM capability through MARBs and Seaworthiness activities.
As the Senior EO Engineer your responsibilities will include:
- Development of weapon plans for the Maritime and Munitions capabilities in accordance with policy, guidance and best practice. Plans include but are not limited to project management, asset management, engineering, certification approvals, ILS, contract management, sustainment and disposal plans.
- Plan, prepare and develop weapon integration activities, schedules and plans for platforms, including technical risk, dependencies, schedule, cost and Fundamental Inputs to Capability elements. This includes delivery of testing, logistics
support and any supporting elements to achieve an Operational Capability. - Support, coordinate and inform:
- Financial Management including budget management.
- Risk Management.
- Reporting on a monthly basis.
- Strategic Support.
- Management of data requests, visit co-ordination activities, executive level brief drafting, coordination and reporting on Maritime Strike and Munitions activities. - Support development of future capabilities i.e. Pre-Gate 0 advice, input and document preparation in consultation with
Navy.
Knowledge, skills & experience:
- Extensive experience as EO Engineer
- In-depth knowledge and experience to undertake tasks of increasing complexity, including the ability to consider the problem, derive a range of potential solutions from existing possibilities and decide on the best course of action to reach a cost effective outcome
- Thorough understanding of the integration requirements both within support elements, and between EO and other technical logistics disciplines
Due to the nature of these roles, applicants must hold or have recently held an NV1 Australian Defence security clearance.
