The Role

As an Electromagnetic Intelligence Subject Matter Expert, you will play a key role in supporting the establishment of the Belgian Joint Electromagnetic Warfare Support Centre (JEWSC), helping to deliver a sovereign capability for the collection, analysis, exploitation and management of Electromagnetic Intelligence, Electronic Support and Mission Data for the Belgium MOD.

Day-to-day, you'll provide specialist expertise to support the development of operational processes, analytical methodologies, mission data workflows and intelligence exploitation activities. Working closely with military operators, intelligence analysts, mission data specialists, software developers and capability leads, you'll help establish best practice for the collection, analysis, validation and dissemination of electromagnetic intelligence to support operational decision-making and capability development.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting analysis of emitter characteristics, RF activity and threat system behaviour to generate actionable intelligence

• Supporting the development and optimisation of EMI analysis, exploitation and reporting processes

• Contributing to intelligence validation activities and data quality assurance processes

• Supporting the specification, integration and evaluation of EMI and Mission Data tooling

• Providing technical input to requirements development, architecture studies and future capability roadmaps

• Engaging with Belgium MOD, UK MOD, NATO partners and industry stakeholders to support capability development and operational readiness

Essential experience of the Electromagnetic Intelligence Subject Matter Expert:

• A minimum of 5 years' relevant technical experience in the development and exploitation of Electromagnetic Intelligence capabilities

• Strong knowledge of Electronic Warfare, Electromagnetic Intelligence, Electronic Support, Mission Data and RF systems

• Experience analysing emitter characteristics, RF activity and threat system behaviour to generate operationally relevant intelligence

• Experience supporting intelligence exploitation, validation and data quality assurance activities

• Experience supporting the development, integration or evaluation of EMI and Mission Data toolsets and processes

• Experience working with defence, government or multinational stakeholders to deliver operational capability outcomes

Essential qualifications for the Electromagnetic Intelligence (EMI) Subject Matter Expert:

• Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant Engineering, Intelligence, RF, Electronic Warfare or technical discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience

• Minimum of 5 years' relevant technical experience in the development and exploitation of Electromagnetic Intelligence capabilities

This role is primarily based at our Belgium office. Regular collaboration with Belgium MOD, UK MOD and industry partners will be required. Travel between UK and Belgium customer sites will be required. Candidates should be willing to relocate to Belgium or undertake a regular weekly commute.
