The Role

As a Mission Data Test & Evaluation Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the establishment of the Belgian Joint Electromagnetic Warfare Support Centre (JEWSC), helping to deliver sovereign Mission Data capabilities for the Belgium MOD. You will support the validation, assurance and continuous improvement of Mission Data products, processes and toolsets, ensuring they meet operational requirements and remain effective against current and emerging threats.

Day-to-day, you'll plan, execute and analyse Mission Data test activities, working closely with subject matter experts, engineers, analysts and international stakeholders to assess Mission Data performance, support capability development and establish robust Test & Evaluation practices across the Mission Data lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and executing Mission Data verification, validation and acceptance activities across the Mission Data lifecycle

• Developing test strategies, methodologies, test cases and assessment criteria to evaluate Mission Data performance against operational requirements

• Assessing the quality, integrity and effectiveness of Mission Data products and identifying opportunities for optimisation and improvement

• Collaborating with EMI SMEs, Operational Analysts, RF Test Engineers, Mission Data Specialists and software developers to deliver Mission Data assurance activities

• Supporting the integration, verification and acceptance of Mission Data toolsets, databases and processing workflows

• Working with Belgium MOD, UK MOD, NATO and industry partners to support Mission Data governance, standards and capability development

Essential experience of the Mission Data Test & Evaluation Engineer:

• Demonstrable experience in the development, test and evaluation of Mission Data products, processes and toolsets

• Knowledge of Electronic Warfare systems, Electromagnetic Intelligence and threat characterisation principles

• Experience planning and conducting Mission Data validation, verification and acceptance activities

• Experience analysing test results and performance data to identify deficiencies, operational risks and areas for improvement

• Understanding of Mission Data governance, quality assurance and configuration management principles

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary and international teams

Essential qualifications of the Mission Data Test & Evaluation Engineer:

• Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant Engineering, Science, Electronic Warfare or technical discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience

• Minimum of 5 years' relevant technical experience in Mission Data test and evaluation activities

This role is primarily based out of our Belgium office. Regular collaboration with customer, industry and partner organisations across Belgium and the UK will be required. Travel between UK and Belgium customer sites will be required. Candidates should be willing to relocate to Belgium or undertake a regular weekly commute.
