QinetiQ Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support a fast-paced recruitment team at our Lorton, VA C5ISR Headquarters. The selected candidate will support the sourcing and hire of cleared and non-cleared, engineers, scientists, and technology professionals.

 

Your Contribution to the Mission:

 

  • Manage the recruitment of various technical and hardware engineering professionals such as electrical, systems, and mechanical engineers, and scientists who will support new technology developent programs, primarily supporting the military and DOD sector.
  • Work closely with Recruiters and hiring managers to fully understand the requirements of the role, the function, and how it fits into the organization
  • Strategize and leverage multiple sourcing channels such as research, referral generation, talent mapping, and sourcing campaigns to identify high caliber candidates and maintain healthy pipeline for priority roles
  • Engage passive candidates and understand their underlying motivations, while providing detailed information on the position requirements and company mission
  • Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders
  • Leverage data, your knowledge, and industry trends to build creative sourcing strategies and iterate on our interview process
  • Build and share knowledge of skills, target companies, conferences for Business & Marketing functions with recruiters and hiring managers
  • Be the face of company to our amazing candidates and maintain professional and courteous communication to foster long-term relationships

 

 

To Land This Job, You Need:

 

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a technical sourcer or recruiting agent
  • 3 or more years of experience sourcing and recruiting hardware engineers such as electrical, system, and mechanical engineers, preferably within a DOD setting
  • Experience recruiting both cleared and non-cleared professionals
  • Experience with online and offline recruiting techniques
  • Familiarity with social media marketing and digital networking
  • Proficient in relevant office software and database systems
  • Ability to conduct online and in person interviews
  • Ability to prioritze and manage a varied workload in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Good negotiation skills
