QinetiQ Inc. is seeking an experienced System Integration and Test Manager to support the development and integratio of new technology systems at our C5ISR division headquarters in Lorton, VA. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:


  • Perform as the technical lead for the integration and test (I&T) department reporting to the Director of Systems Engineering.
  • Collaborate with QinetiQ engineering directorates to develop QinetiQ-wide I&T processes and procedures that conform to industry standards such as IEEE-15288 standards family.
  • Assist QinetiQ programs in appropriate tailoring of the QinetiQ I&T processes and procedures that satisfy program I&T objectives.
  • Assist QinetiQ programs in the development of their Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP) or equivalent I&T planning documents.
  • Perform gatekeeper function to verify programs have met their entry/exit criteria for their respective Integration Readiness Review (IRR) and Test Readiness Review (TRR) events.
  • Coordinate with QinetiQ lab, operations, and facilities leaders to ensure I&T facilities and material resources are acquired in time to meet program schedule dates for I&T events.
  • Report ongoing I&T event status to the Director of Systems Engineering to ensure the Engineering Leadership Team has full visibility of test findings and anomalies.


To Land This Job, You Need:


  • BS degree or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in design, integration, and test of large C5ISR systems, specializing in EO-IR and/or hyperspectral sensors and systems for airborne applications.
  • 5+ years of experience working within a multidisciplinary team of engineers in executing ISR and EO/IR based sensor systems projects
  • Hands on experience with:
    • Confluence, JIRA, MS Project, MagicDraw or similar project management and system engineering tools
    • Altium, Solidworks, NV-IPM, Zemax or similar design software
