🚀 What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of production employees to meet daily goals
• Collaborate with the Production Planner to manage schedules and ensure timely order completion
• Supervise and participate in the assembly, testing, and certification of mechanical and electrical subsystems
• Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective actions
• Train new operatives and assess competence
• Support engineering documentation and review processes
• Promote and uphold safety standards and company values

🎓 What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing mechanical/electrical assemblies
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Proven leadership experience in a production environment
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and ERP systems (SAP or Deltek Costpoint)
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Ability to obtain Canadian Class 2 Security Clearance and pass a criminal record check

🧠 Bonus Skills

• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
• Formal supervisory training or qualifications
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015 standards
• Experience with unmanned systems or defense-related manufacturing
