Applications are now invited for an experienced Technical Spares Assessor to join the Land 400 project based in Melbourne

 

As part of Land 400 Phase 2, the Technical Spares Assessor (TSA) position is responsible for reviewing and conducting codification and cataloguing services for the ILS team during the acquisition phase of the project.

 

The TSA will also be required to:

  • Provide specialist technical input to assist the ILS team to complete codification and cataloguing.  Cataloguing is to be conducted IAW ESCM
  • Maintain the Problematic Items Of Supply (PIOS) program i including: MSDS, MSDS database, and
  • Assist in review of the following Acquisition ILS CDRL deliverables

Our Ideal Candidate will present with;

  • Diploma or higher qualifications in a relevant technical discipline OR a suitably qualified ex-military  candidate with a technical trade or comparable related service
  • Knowledge and proficiency in executing Technical tasks within an Engineering Management framework
  • Experience preparing technical reports, briefs and correspondence relevant to areas of responsibility
  • Military Trade experience with Armoured Vehicle or Defence Vehicles and equipment (desired)
  • Experience with systems including CMT-L
