QinetiQ US is seeking a skilled, mid-career, highly motivated individual to be an integral part of the Corporate US Strategy team. You will support the strategic growth and operational maturity of QinetiQ US, working with experienced industry leaders, as we progress towards our strategic objective of building a disruptive, mid-tier, multibillion dollar US defense company. You will have a high visibility and high impact role in the organization, partnering and working collaboratively with the business units and functions to support strategic planning, strategic projects, M&A, partnerships, and investments.

Your Contribution to the Mission:

• Work closely and collaboratively with senior executives and leadership on key strategic challenges and initiatives
• Support and spearhead strategic projects that can range from industry and market assessments, competitive analysis, program management, operational design and improvement, M&A assessment, financial and business case analysis, and executive decision making
• Support the development of strategic frameworks and the annual strategic planning process
• Execute structured and unstructured data analysis
• Develop briefings and white papers on strategic and industry topics
• Conduct market research and participate in industry events

To Land This Job, You Need:

• BA/BS in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 5-7+ years of experience, preferably in strategic planning or management consulting
• Mission oriented, fiercely curious
• Exposure and understanding of the US Defense industry
• Strategic thinker, capable of applying strategic frameworks to complex, unstructured problems to develop and assess solutions
• Capable of developing decks, briefs, and white papers suitable for Executive levels
• Strong business acumen
• Team oriented, self-starter with excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Research and analytical skills, proficient working with and visualizing large datasets
• Organization skills
• Attention to detail
